Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. We are often stressed, tired, hurting, or anxious. Life brings struggles, and often it is hard to know what to do with that pain. When everything feels like it’s spinning out of control, I invite you to step into my office, take a deep breath, and let’s work together to put the pieces back in order. Through compassionate interest, honest conversation, and an approach informed by the skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, I want to help you get back into the driver’s seat of your life and your emotions.
I specialize in clients with anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties (such as depression or borderline personality), relationship struggles, or those who struggle with impulsive behaviors. I welcome individuals, couples, teens, and senior citizens.
When I’m not in the counseling room, I enjoy long, meandering walks, cooking for a crowd, and exploring the small towns and interesting landmarks surrounding St. Louis.
